Needles Software Integrations and Current Versions

In order to ensure a seamless office environment, we at Needles have worked very hard to make sure our program integrates with many other programs commonly used at law offices. Our programmers are constantly testing new versions of the software to ensure that our integrations remain current. Below is a list of software programs with which we integrate. Please note:

1. Versions of Needles that are released after January 1, 2006 will not run on the Windows 98 platform, the Windows ME platform, or the Windows NT platform.
2. The following list contains specific information listing the exact versions of the compatible program that have been tested and proven to work successfully with the Needles program.  DO NOT attempt to use an unlisted version of a compatible software program.  Any questions regarding version compatibility should be directed to Needles Technical Support at support@needles.com

The Needles program integrates with:

• Adobe - In order to create the actual form template files, you will need to have either Adobe Acrobat 6 Professional or Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional.  To merge the PDF form with information from Needles into a PDF document, you may use either Adobe Acrobat 6 or 7, Professional, Standard or Reader versions; however, only the Professional and Standard versions will allow you to save the resulting merged PDF file. 
  Please note:  Because Needles creates an FDF file that will merge into the PDF template, only Adobe products can be used for merging the information.  You may wish to explore other third-party products that are available for creating PDF templates, but you will still need Adobe Acrobat to merge and save the merged results.
• Corel WordPerfect - supported versions include 9, 10, 11, 12, X3
• Docs Open - supported versions include 4
• eDrawer - supported versions include Business, Professional, and Enterprise.
• E-mail - Any Mapi-compliant email program, such as Groupwise, Eudora, Outlook, Outlook Express, etc.
• Hot Docs - supported versions include 5
• Interwoven WorkSite - This integration is available through a third party provider. For detailed information, please click here.
• Lucion Technology's FileCenter - Supported Versions include 5.0 Please note: Only Needles versions 4.7 or higher integrate with FileCenter.
• MediConnect.net
• Microsoft Word - supported versions include 97, 2000, 2002(XP), 2003
• Outlook - supported versions include 2000, 2002, 2003
• PC Law - supported versions include 4, 5, 6, 7.05A, 7.22, 7.50 or higher.
  Please note: Only Needles versions 4.65 or higher integrate with PC Law versions 7.50 and higher.
• PDA - Any PDA running the Palm OS with Palm Desktop Version 4.10
• Peachtree - supported versions include 7, 8, 2002, 2003, 2004
• QuickBooks- Pro, Premiere, and Enterprise Solutions- supported versions include 2001 and higher. 
  Please note:  The bidirectional interface contained in Needles 4.65 is compatible only with versions 2004 and higher.  (However, neither integration works with any version of QuickBooks Basic, Simple Start, or online.)
• Timeslips - supported versions include 10, 10.5, 11, 2004, 2005
• Worldox - supported versions include 2000, 2001, 2002(XP), GX
