A focused leader, Ryan spent the past 10 years building businesses, prior to which he was a practicing attorney. Ryan is a lifelong learner who encourages others to fuel their own passion for growth and knowledge. Ryan earned his Bachelor’s degree and MBA from Harvard and a law degree from Columbia Law School, where he was a Senior Editor of the Law Review.

As COO of Assembly Legal, David brings over 12 years of experience leading operations and strategy in the technology space. Focused on driving continuous business improvements, David draws from his diverse experiences including being the first employee of a successful technology start-up, advising numerous Fortune 500 technology companies as a strategy consultant and serving as an executive at multiple SaaS companies. David is also a patent holder and always looking to take on a new challenge.
A passionate technology leader, Jim has spent 25 years in software development, focusing on SaaS for the past eight years. Jim believes in meeting the ever-changing needs and modern demands of our customers by focusing on optimization of design and development processes for innovation. Holding an MBA from Southern Methodist University along with multiple technical certifications, Jim offers his expertise as a business leader on best practices for software modernization.
Don has over 25 years of experience leading Finance teams at companies ranging from high-growth start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations. A balanced leader, Don is focused on implementing financial processes and systems to support business growth and decision-making. Don takes pride in getting the job done with honesty and integrity. He earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and is a Canadian CPA.
After growing up at the company, Bryan ran Needles for 9 years, culminating in the successful merger with Trialworks and the formation of Assembly Legal. Today, Bryan leads our customer education program. He enjoys utilizing new technology to constantly adapt, improving lives both professionally and personally. Bryan is a creative at heart, a self-proclaimed nerd and an all-around interesting guy (with a Private Pilot license to prove it).
Giorgio has over 10 years of experience in corporate development and strategy, identifying and rolling out strategic initiatives that help companies accelerate business growth. His track record for success is grounded in his curiosity and passion for growth and learning. Giorgio earned a B.A. in Economics and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and has experience in global investment banking and M&A.
Patrice is a dynamic leader with over 30 years of law firm experience, including 10 years in law firm management. Twenty years in software support experience give Patrice a deep understanding of customer needs. Driven by the desire to help others succeed, Patrice leads with a customer-first mentality, helping customers reach successful outcomes and high satisfaction rates with our products.
Chuck is no stranger to leading best-in-class customer support teams, with his nearly 25 years of customer support, training and operational experience—including eight years focused on SaaS and software. As a Six Sigma Black Belt, Chuck excels at making continuous process improvements to remove obstacles for customers. Data-driven, Chuck has refined our Customer Satisfaction Rating System to leverage key metrics to improve the customer experience.
John has over 15 years of experience scaling and managing high-performance sales teams in high-growth, early- to mid-stage, venture-backed SaaS companies. Goal-oriented, John leads Assembly Legal’s Sales organization, including Enterprise and Mid-Market Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives. John believes in technology with purpose, empowering his teams and delivering meaningful impact across organizations. John holds a B.A. in Economics from Manchester University.
Kate has been a marketing leader for over a decade, helping software companies create meaningful connections with customers and realize significant growth. Kate has previously led demand generation and sales development for a variety of other enterprise software and services companies, helping manage large-scale, on-premise to SaaS transitions. Overseeing all marketing initiatives at Assembly, Kate enjoys immersing herself in marketing analytics, figuring out which levers to pull next.
Robb founded Trialworks after eight years of practice as a trial attorney. Robb successfully built the business over 20 years and created meaningful customer relationships along the way. A key ingredient to his success has been fostering empathy. Robb earned his J.D. from the University of Miami. He supports his community, serving as the current Chair of the University of Miami Hillel Board of Directors.
